PA Matt

American Physician Associate

Hello! I'm Matt Schwanke, and I am an American trained Physician Associate. I have been a practicing PA for 12 years; the majority of which has been in general practice, but I also have experience in urgent care and orthopedics.

I enjoy all aspects of general practice, but I have special interests in dermatology; especially skin cancer screening and biopsies, preventive care and lifestyle medicine, and men's health. I also enjoy humanitarian work. In April and May of 2020 I treated COVID-19 patients at a field hospital in New York City.

September 2021 | treated refugees from Afghanistan at a US Army base in Virginia.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, exercise, and training kickboxing.
