Who We Are

Dr Luke Wee

Doctor

Dr Wee graduated in medicine from the University of Auckland in 2012, and had subsequently worked in various settings before becoming a Fellow of the NZ College of General Practitioners in 2020. He has worked as a hospital physician on Mercy Ships, as well as having many years of GP experience in the Franklin and South Auckland areas. He is also currently the Clinical Director of Te Manu Aute Whare Oranga at Manurewa Marae. Dr Wee has a special interest in minor surgeries. Apart from his native tongue, he enjoys learning languages including te reo Māori and French.

Dr Angela Wagner

Doctor

Dr Wagner graduated from the University of Auckland in 2014 following her PhD. She is a fellow of the NZ College of General Practitioners. Angela enjoys all aspects of general practice. Outside of work, she enjoys badminton, music and home DIY. Angela is happy to consult both in English and Mandarin.

Dr Vanshdeep Tangri

Doctor

Dr Tangri has a particular medical interest in skin cancer, having completed several specialist courses. Born in India, Vanshdeep moved to South Auckland at the age of twelve. He studied medicine at The University of Auckland before working as a house surgeon at Middlemore Hospital and medical registrar at Waitakere Hospital. As a GP Vanshdeep has worked in Auckland, Waikato and Christchurch to build up his experience.

Dr Amin Uloom

Doctor

Dr Uloom trained with urgent care college but has decided to make the transition to general practice as he values more time with his family. He has broad experience in surgical discipline as well as urgent care and is trained to deal with medical emergencies. He also helps look after Care Homes and medical issues involving older population.

Dr Uloom has a keen interest in anything related to ear, nose & throat and helps Counties Manukau DHB ORL Dept with their outpatients’ appointments as their GP with special interest (GPWSI).

In his spare time he is a very keen 'foodist' and his Malaysian heritage helps him further expand his interest. He drives from Hamilton for his passion to serve the South Auckland community and is enjoying the wealth of experience that Newsham Park Medical is offering.
